Should I put content on footer?

Hello,

I should put a bit content on my website footer and it's useful for SEO ?
or I only put links and social button on footer ?

Please share your ideas ?

Content on footer? I think is not neccessary, people add only links - they are important for SEO. Honestly never come to mind add content there and I've never seen a page with text on footer.

Hello,

Yes, you can put only link or social button also put your content but it is wastage of your content because web <body> is use for content so please ignore post content on footer. it will not show properly. I think only Thanks

The only thing I put in footers is copyright notices, disclaimers and secondary navigation links (tos, support, contact, privacy etc)
