How to successfully run a ptc site
Pay to click web sites are sites where people can earn money by cliciking on advertisements and viewing them for a short period of time. The webmaster makes money by selling advertising, upgraded memberships and renting or selling referrals.
Six weeks ago I decided to start my own ptc site I will tell you what problems I encountered. I will also tell you how I attempted to fix these problems. While I am still a newbie new people starting on this same venture may find my information invaluable.
The first problem I encountered on my site at tomsbux.net was fraud. Members from mostly Asian countries were building up a huge quick downline of fake direct referrals. This can be done very easily by using a proxy to mask ip addresses. I chose to solve this problem by checking over my logs carefully and deleting the obvious cheaters. If you allow these cheaters to remain on your site they will be cashing out every two or three days and they will run you into the poor house since they never invest in your site.
People are hesitant to spend money on ptc sites. You should set your payouts to a relatively low prices because if you take too long to pay anyone people will thnk that you are a scam site. My investors increased after I began paying my first members.
Most of your money will come from memberships and the renting or sale of direct referrals. Most members do not buy advertising. You should set your membership costs to low affordable prices(like ten dollars a month). Most people will not invest large sums of money on new ptc sites with no track record.
Shoot small. Do not attempt to get rich by offering high click rates and expensive annual or lifetime memberships. You will end up owing lots of people a lot of money for a long time.
And most important be honest with your members. There is software available to send messages to all of your members at once. Any problems you may have communicate it to your members. For example if you can't issue all payouts for a particular period communicate this to your members. A late payment is better than no payment. Work out a schedule to pay your members. Trust goes a long way in ptc sites.
Finally I am just six weeks into my journey and I am admittedly operating in the red. But I am learning by the day and I will repost later on how I'm doing and offer some more tips. One more tip before I go. Before you start your ptc site set aside at least one hundred dollars for payouts, advertising your site etc. Do not depend on your ptc site to provide immediate income. Most ptc sites don't make money at first unless you have a huge advertising budget.
I will update again later.
