Like others have stated, learn coding. WP doesn't really take any skill, as even a child can put a site together using it. The real skill will come from learning programming to implement in sites you build yourself from a good foundation.

If the old links are gone, then Google will drop them over time, but if they are still up then use a 301 redirect to the new pages, so Google will just re-index those.

GA is still tragically flawed though, and not very accurate. The most accurate count is going to come from your own server side raw logs. Not as "pretty", or fancy, but accurate.

The biggest factor for me is how many backlinks it has in place that still bring traffic.

Bounce rate is the rate at which a visitor leaves a site after arriving on your page. A high bounce rate means visitors don't stay, for whatever reason, and move on to another site.
