is Flash dying?
For any reasons I didn't see any websites using flash as parts on their web pages or rarely people mentioned in web design. is Flash dying? what would you say?

In my opinion i do feel flash is dead, because there are other alternatives which are more responsive and being responsive nowadays is what you want so your audience can view your website on mobiles, tablets and computers. a lot of effects you can do using HTML/CSS aswell.

It was all the craze for a while, but too many devices don't support it.
Stay away from Flash!

I think so.. Because I read something like that.. "Adobe reached out saying that Adobe Flash creators can export their creations directly to HTML5 within the app." Also "Google officially killed Flash advertising in its browser."

OMG flash has been dead for years. I use to be a professional flash animator and illustrator creating tons of flash animations, logo's, banners and games for companies back then. It was so much fun, but the mobile devices murdered it unfortunately ...

Even Adobe is saying people should move to HTML5. I used to love Flash years ago. I even built some Flash websites. But as Lonric said, mobile devices have killed it. HTML5 is getting better and faster.
I don't think the Adobe Flash software is going away, but I think it will shift to producing HTML5 compatible code instead of the old SWF animations.

Flash is already dead at this moment at there is no website use it anymore (as I known). And Adobe is doing to replace Flash by another kind, I read somewhere on the web, but didn't remember where.

Well, there are websites that still use it. Lots of web content still uses the Flash format actually. So it's not dead. BUT it's use is decreasing. I don't think it will be used much at all within a few years.

Flash is junk as it needs a lot more coding and changes every now and then.A major draw backs, flash files are loaded very slow and it makes the website very slow.Mostly a Flash coders are charging a lot for any changes or new design

I don't think Flash is readable by search engines either, though I might be wrong. Sure doesn't give you the opportunity for image traffic.
Many years ago I dabbled with flash, made a few banners, as it was good for animated banners. But if I remember correctly the files sizes got pretty big. Glad I didn't spend to much time learning it

Of course. Even Adobe is starting to encouraging their users to abandon and replace it with HTML5. They are also introducing Animation CC, a new technology for that kind of web interactions.

Edge animate is not a good replacement as it is difficult stuff for try.No wonder they need to bring a better solution in near future to compete current market trends

Flash is dying very fast. Websites that use flash can be very annoying. Only thing I like about flash is the flash games, that's about it.

Flash is not dying, Flash died.
Now it is renamed Animated CC. No longer supported by Adobe. It's time of HTML5 now.

Not to my knowledge. I run into flash pages all the time. As a matter of fact, just last night, I had to download the flash player to my new system in order to see a page.

Some people see it that way. But some of my friends who are programmers say otherwise. Coz at some point using Flash has its own advantage over others.

So many people saying it's not dead, saying it's still being used, but no one gives any examples.

Flash is dying. Almost dead. Flash has to adopt to the latest web technology and coding if it wanted to live. It is annoying for users to have to install flash players every now and then just to view the web page. Make flash compatible with any platform, or better yet, turn flash into an open source project for us to experiment and explore.
