Weebly seems super easy to use and do customizations, but perhaps a little basic and not popular as wordpress. What is your choice between Weebly and wordpress for building blogs for FREE that get more potential and benefit from it?

Any recommendations of what to use and why, all your inputs are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, WordPress is your best bet. While one would think that it's hard to customize on your own, it really isn't. Not to mention there are a ton of responsive, easy-to-use, and free themes available to WordPress users. Now-a-days, WordPress is the leading CMS for building websites with blogs. With their bbpress forums and bridge connections, you can easily add a support forum to any WordPress site for more flexibility. I've been using WordPress for years. I adore it and recommend it to anyone who's looking to start a new project. Another great thing about WordPress is that it's updated on a regular basis as are most usable plugins.

Hello Jon Acuff,

If you’re comparing Weebly vs. WordPress, you’ll find that both let you build feature-packed websites for all types of businesses.

Weebly is a website builder that allows you to create a website without having to code or design it yourself. WordPress allows you to create a website or blog from scratch, or to improve an existing website. It’s the most popular CMS in the world, powering over 30% of all websites. Weebly is a website builder that allows you to create a website or blog with drag-and-drop simplicity. It’s less popular than WordPress but still used by millions of people around the world. But which one is the best for you?

Here are some things to consider when choosing between Weebly and WordPress:
  1. Ease of Use:
Weebly is easier to use than WordPress. With Weebly, you can create a website without having to learn coding. Also, You can have a website up and running in minutes, without touching a single line of code. On the other hand, WordPress is more complex and difficult to use, but it offers more features and flexibility

  2. Design:
Both WordPress and Weebly allow you to create beautiful websites. However, WordPress gives you more control over the design of your site, as it offers thousands of themes and plugins. With Weebly, you’re somewhat limited to the designs they offer.
