Hi there everybody,
I can't choose PayPal as a payment method when checking out in GoDaddy, that's why? don't they accept PayPal anymore? Any nice information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

But I don't see any. Maybe it's of the cheap price. I'm using a promotional code that makes the total price just $1.17, does it matter?

Aww.. yes, it could be, because PayPal takes lot's of fee's for domain registration. As I remember I had the same issue last time.

Found the issue!
GoDaddy won't allow PayPal when you use a promotional code that makes the total price too low. So I'd better make us of Credit Cards.

Yes, you cannot use PayPal when using a promotional code.

You have to use a Credit/Debit card.

You can always get one of them pre-pay credit cards and use that.

That's what a lot of people do who want to take advantage of the cheap promo code discounts.

Have you looked around and tried other registrars?

It maybe that someone else can do that domain and also accepts promo codes.

Example, NameCheap, Name, Nominet, 1&1, Fasthosts etc etc

Also, you can try Honey addon for Firefox or Chrome.

Good luck! :)

Godaddy usually doesn't allow Paypal as an option for domain registrations, transfers, etc. most of the time. There is a rare occasion that it will allow it, but they are few and far between.

They will usually allow Paypal as an option when using coupon codes for domain privacy and some other services, I do it all the time and even did it a couple of hours ago.

Domains are a touchy thing with GD I guess. ;)
