Most all of us on the forum like making money online, especially when you can do it from your home or wherever if you have a laptop an internet connection. What is your favorite money making niches? Can you please share a little about what you are doing for generating money online? and what is your story when you chose it as your your favorite niche to start with?

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Marketers don't usually like to reveal their niches because of fear of competition. I will tell you this, though. I used to like working in the "make money online" niche -- until the landscape changed. Back-in-the-day, new products used to come out on a weekly basis. If a product was crappy (lots of them were), all you had to do what tell people why they sucked and recommend something legitimate. People appreciated the honesty. Now, I barely see anything worth promoting.

Besides that niche, I have worked in the "gardening" niche, "learn Spanish" niche, dating niche (still in this one) and in another one I won't reveal because I just recently got the site up and running. It's a physical product on Amazon. I've never actually promoted anything like this, so I don't know exactly how it will go. With that said, I'm also thinking about the Fall and Winter months (will be hear before you know it). I've got some ideas of things I can promote (based on last year's searches).

With that said, I haven't promoted anything like that stuff, either. I'm going to be learning a lot of the next few months, which is great. I'll be able to start the new year out with a bang. Going back to your original question, though, I'd recommend you start with your hobbies. Most people have hobbies that are in profitable niches. This will also make it easier for you to promote stuff you know about and help you to connect with the audience.

Hey Joey, I agree with you on this point but could not clarify why they didn't like to reveal their niches, if they don't do this, it has limitations in advertising their products or services which is related directly to their niches.

I'd recommend you start with your hobbies. Most people have hobbies that are in profitable niches.
Exactly but some niches in my hobbies are saturation or too more competitive while other niches are more profits but I am not a specialist on it. I think in that case we need time to learn a new niche, how it works and join, that's a good idea?

Whenever I heard people say they don't want to reveal their niches, it's usually for one of two reasons. 1) They have a larger following, and they know their followers try to hunt down their sites so they can copy them. Thanks to algorithm changes, this doesn't work as well as it once did. 2. They work in very specific niches with little competition (usually require specialized knowledge), where they are the niche leaders. They might have discovered a really profitable sector in men's health or something like that, where they promote very specific products. If too many people found out about said niche, it would really hurt their bottom lines.

As far as competition goes, I learned a long time ago that any niche worth going into is going to have a significant amount of competition. You just have to figure out how you can get your foot in the door (through the promotion of just one product). After you lay the foundation, you can build your way from there. All of the niches I'm in -- including the one I'm building an Amazon site for have a lot of competition. I don't care. I'm passionate about the niche and know there's money to be made in it. I've also looked at some of my competors' sites and wasn't impressed - ha. Since it's outside of the "make money online" niche, they may not know much about S.E.O. and stuff like that.

I've always liked the make money niche. And I sure don't see how it's changed that much. There will ALWAYS be people who want to make money, or more of it. That's been true long before any of us were born and it's not going to go away any time soon.

Just like there will always be people who want to lose weight, those who want to find love, or any larger groups with a common problem that needs to be fixed, cured or solved.

Just my opinion :)

I would have to say that the top niches for making money are helping others to make money, weight loss, and health and beauty products. People are always searching for ways to make money, and always want to loose some weight or look good.

My favourite niches are
Make money online (there are a lot of untrustworthy dipshits in this niche so be careful)
weight loss/fitness

I have had success selling in niches like
surfing
kitchenware
sci fi
self help

Hope this helps.

I am sure this "People are always searching for ways to make money" always true and it's reason why more people liked this niche :icon_e_geek:

In my personal opinion, weight loss/fitness is hard to develop and compete with other sites. Do you have experience in this field?

I also like the make money niche but its pretty broad and hard to earn from this niche unless you have good experience in some specific niches to generate revenue monthly

My favorite making money niches is teaching people how to make money online. In that, I teach how to sell personal products and/or affiliate products and help them quit their day job so they can work from home.

I think all niches are profitable but you have to do it right, For me I have 3 blogs generating 5k monthly revenue from ads and affiliate programs.
My niches are :

Food recipes ( micro niche, one category of food ) is generating around 2k from affiliate
Gardens and backyards niche
the last one is very targeted, micro niche about one type of supplements, and it work great with my clickbank account

There really is a ton of crap out there. I get an email twice a day about "training." They all have the same pitch too - it'll make you faster and stronger with an unfair advantage. Also, you'll be driving a Lambo next week because Bill Gates is rich and Bill Gates did good on the net yo. This previously $5,000 program is now only $27.

The bigger the "Need" population, the larger the market,
and the greater the opportunities for marketers to make money.

Provide legitimate solutions to problems, and you will
find that you have a business.

As mentioned, there are way too many people who are
pushing a bunch of garbage to unsuspecting people.

That said, the phrase "Buyer Beware" comes to mind.

My favourite niches are Health and Fitness, specifically with a sports-orientation, because it's what I do and it's what I'm passionate about. Also it's probably one of the hottest markets out there, and you can see that just looking at clickbank!

And then also the making money online niche, because I'm also passionate about helping people to achieve financial freedom and escape this fixed mindset of getting a 9-5 until death/horrific retirement... ugh. Some people would benefit greatly from a paradigm shift!

I think the common theme between these is freedom. People want freedom in their bodies, they want to feel good, they want to have financial freedom and time freedom by making a passive income online... That's what I'm passionate about. Freedom.

I use email marketing to sell my own services and products in health and fitness, as well as affiliate marketing in both. Traffic sources I use are YouTube, and a little on other social media platforms. I also get a bit from people clicking my signature links on various forums.

Health and Fitness, weight loss are one of niches I feel hardesst to start and grow it with traffic unless you are an expert in these fields.

I would find niches easier to develop and grow for revenue instead of choosing niches hard and more competitive.

My favorite money making niches are:

CPA Adult, or sometimes non adult content locking spam, although this is not a legit method and only good for quick cash.

Fitness niche, I have experience and it is easy to sell products if they are genuine.

Make money online niche, there is tons of BS products out there, and I like to actually hook it up.

Most of the money I makes is from selling health supplements and despite being a low competition niche google only rank webpages when quality backlinks are build for them. Now days I also target customers with social media particularly instagram as SEO is becoming really though now.

I prefer anything lead based in the finance or claims industry. Stuff like insurance quotes, no-win no-fee claim applications, loan or debt enquiries, etc. I get paid per lead by the merchants and the payouts are pretty high (around £15 - £20 minimum per lead) so it's pretty lucrative.

I come from a finance background anyway so the choice was pretty straightforward, although I did try promoting a lot of the usual affiliate products as well.

I'd have to go with the make money niche and the mobile advertising niche... I've been dealing with this stuff for a while now and I seem to earn a good portion of money on these areas...:)

Understanding basic human needs play a part in choosing a niche:

- Safety needs: financial and health security
- Love needs: Friendship, intimacy, and family

The top category niches are wealth, health, relationship and general (hobbies).

As long you're specific niche is based on this category, there is potential to make money in it.

For example: Forex trading - this is part of wealth category, people always want to learn how to start in forex to make money.

Dating for women - part of relationship, girls wants to know how to attract the right male partner.

General (hobbies) niche - dog training betta fish tips, etc - all is good niches and already tested successfully.
