Social Bookmarking and social Networking? what are the differences between them? which is the broader category?
and which one "works" better for you ? which one is a sub category of the other?
I have more question about them but would like to hear your answers first before adding new ones

Social networking is when you join sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. where you connect with friends, other people, companies. Companies use this method to identify and to connect directly with potential customers via engaging contents and ad links.

Social bookmarking is when you use sites like Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, etc. to tag your favourite websites, web pages, articles, etc. which you can access anytime anywhere in any device as long as you are connected to the internet. These sites organize all these together into one big collection, making it open among members for sharing.

Although limited in scope, one distinct advantage for the user is the ability to easily find relevant, interesting and high-qiuality results since these links are pre-selected already by other users. The present of voting system in some of these sites also impact search engine ranking and help create backlinks.

Both sites are used to attract website visitors and to achieve SEO.
