I have seen a few ebooks in PDF format where you can't copy and paste the text from that ebook. I think they did that because they don't want people to copy parts of their ebook.
Anyone know how to do this? I would like to protect the information in my new ebook a bit better.

I use Adobe Acrobat Professional to create secure pdf documents.

It is not a free application and in fact is a little pricey for what I use it for but it does a great job of securing documents so they cannot be copied or changed without the encrypted password to unlock them.

The easiest way to protect your PDF document is to set a password in settings, this prevents from plagiating.

Like mentioned. Adobe Acrobat Pro can do it. But keep in mind that any PDF protection is very easy to break and get around.
