I have finally decided to start using Youtube to drive traffic to my sites. Yep, took long enough.

Anyone know of a good tutorial on how to create and design channels? Especially if you will be driving traffic to multiple products that are not in the same niche.

Have you learned Video marketing courses from Udemy or Lynda?
There are many good tutorials to learn from them and it will help you to have a successful channel pages on Youtube. Of course is you can use marketing tricks to drive traffic to your site using Youtube as a part of their guide.
