Hello,

A few days ago I took a free domain from a provider. It was working good but recently I'm facing a lot of problem with the domain. Many of my friends told me not to take the free domain. My domain provider is dominating my site. That's why I have no control on my website. I am afraid of losing my site.

Please suggest me what can I do in such a situation.

Thanks in advance.

If they own the domain and not you, about the only thing you can do is try to buy it from them. Make them an offer they can't refuse. If you own it, transfer it out from them to another registrar and then move the site to new hosting.

I will go with this solution, if you can control your domain then you can transfer it to another domain registrar to use. Vice versa, leave it and buy a paid domain to use for your website, it will not have any risks like free domain names.

This is a must do solution otherwise, book another domain and copy all pages manually.
