Is high DA means more traffic ?

I am confused about the concept of high DA. Is high domain authority means more traffic on any website or more back links for any website ?
Or it just a factor to show the popularity of the website.

DA "Domain authority" is the value of all backlinks points to your domain. If your site has a strong domain authority, it means that it has many good backlinks!

DA is a third party metric by MOZ and It has nothing to do with your search engine rankings and traffic.
