The problem with Google Analytics

I have a problem with a customer site.

It has "lost" analytics account and I willing, I created another account and I attached website. I pasted the code in web analytics again, all well and good, all site data were recovered, but today I walk in his account, surprise, all history is gone and stayed only data when we inserted the new code.

What can I do to have access to all data again?

Can you tell me did you seen old data after pasting new code in your website?

Each of the analytics tracking code is unique, the moment the code change it is expected loss data history.

You may try to feedback to analytics team or request a help from Google Product forum, but the chances to recover the data is slim.
