The situation is the following:
I have a website in 2008. It is hosted on a subdomain of a free host.
At the time it was relevant and was caught in the directory.

Meanwhile, business has grown and bought the domain name, appeared a brand, etc..
Now the site is left behind, and host Wrong description of the many became horrible.
It is full of ads and pop-ups especially.

Is there a way to update the url and description in DMOZ ?

Are you saying that DMOZ still indexing dead link to site that doesn't exist any longer?
Well, somehow it doesn't surprises me but you better report that bad link.

From what I know, you will have to start all over by submitting your new site.
