Hi, I will follow this thread as I poised to get one forum, one day.
I like niche directories (got two presently) and one day, I would like to start niche forum.
If the forum is popular one, this is hard task to maintain high quality.
You in need to hire good moderators and get a very good hosting.

Does anybody here have any experience in owning a successful forum? Ive been thinking about opening one to do with poker and gambling but I'm concerned it'll take up all of my time..
How long does it take to set up a forum?
How many hours a day do you spend maintaining it?
How many admin/mods do you have?
