Hey guys,
Hope you enjoyed the Recap and what was done by the team in February. We’re always looking for adding new GEOs to the current pool to make sure any partner have the prefferable Tier and GEO to pick.
Let’s get back to the announced topic. Today we’re going to discuss the best practices for making casino banners to use on a website. First of all, please keep in mind that once iGaming is one of the most profitable industries, the competition is truly intense. There are thousands, if not millions, of ad creatives of all kinds on the market. There are thousands of webmasters working with the same offers.
That’s why your ads should stand out among the competition. It’s a good way to start with a great-looking catchy banners to hook the target audience and motivate them to click on the banner.

What elements should be placed on an iGaming banner? What are the key elements that attract the target audience? Let’s find out and have a look at a couple of banners designed by our team.
The key elements are
Brand name. Even if the casino you’re promoting isn’t really well-known in the country, putting the brand name is a must as it’s the best way to increase trust and set apart from the other casinos and sportsbooks. Try to make a banner with the same color scheme as the advertised casino or sportsbook. Don’t confuse the leads with a completely different colors.
iGaming elements. Feel free to put images of slots, roulettes, cards, coins, dices etc. for easy assosiations. Use the most popular slots and other games at any chosen country. Do some research to find them and feel free to put them on a banner.
Strong CTA. A call-to-action is a must but a strong call-to-action is a double must. ‘Play’, ‘Get a bonus’, ‘Register’, ‘Play to win’, ‘Spin the wheel’ and many others. Don’t stick with just one, try different and find out the best CTA for your banner. Keep in mind that your CTA should stand out from the background color and other elements. It should be the main focus and all the attention should be drawn to it.
Celebrities. Does an advertiser have any ambassadors to be displayed on a banner? If the answer is yes then go ahead and put them on your banner. If the answer is no then do some research and find some local celebrities who are known to have interest in iGaming. Keep in mind that these celebrities shouldn’t be spotted in any negative events. Using ambassadors and celebrities help you build trust and credibility just as a brand name.
Bonuses. Does an advertiser provide a welcome bonus? Make sure the bonus is on your banner. It doesn’t matter if it’s free spins, a no deposit bonus or a free bet. Put the bonus on the banner. In combination with a strong CTA the conversion rate should skyrocket. Don’t forget to talk to your affiliate manager. At Royal Partners we have welcome bonuses for each of our 8 In-House products.

These are the basic banners’ elements that we are recommending our partners to concentrate on. Please keep in mind that any combination of these elements should be tested. There is no golden rule to follow and it will usually take some time to create a great banner. Don’t rush. Just test the elements step-by-step. Stay in contact with your affiliate manager and communicate during the whole process.
Hope you enjoyed the piece of information and the examples of the banners our team created. Would be great to hear what do you think of them or maybe you’re ready to share yours with us and we can have a discussion? Anyway, we’d be happy for any feedback!
If you’re looking for a direct advertiser with supportive affiliate managers and lots of promo materials then please reach out to our team and start earning!
