This is only half of the equation that produces success for a small business. Understanding business is the other half. Marketing is the most important business aspect of any small company. Too many small businesses think they will prosper on nothing more than word of mouth.

Customer retention I'd say would be the most tricky yet exciting part of any business - be it online or local. For that reason having a good understanding of customer interests plays a crucial role. If you are able to match up with their interests, you can manage to keep the attrition under control.
Establishing a good communication with the clients is something which is important to run a business. If this is done well, one can well succeed with keeping the customers with a business happy.

I agree with WHUK. Getting and keeping customers depends on if you are marketing something they want or need. Offering "freebies" like e-books and newsletters can be a nice starting point. Show your cutomers that you have what they want and they will be your customers forever. You must have the customer in mind when choosing a product or service. If they don't need it, they won't buy it.

What I found, even offline, is the costumer knowing that you're here to help them make a decision, and you should embrace that, wither they'll buy from you or from someone else. The salesman mentality is always scaring people off.

Well, attracting and keeping customers. There are all sorts of ways. What works the best online? Perhaps setting up a social media profile on your products, as long as you are not offering a business opportunity. Just get you and your products online. Blog about problems your customers have and ways to solve them. Create a lot of content.
Keeping customers is another matter. Have the ultimate in customer service. Do right by them. Sell great stuff at a good price. Reward customers.

Attracting customers is a skill on it's own. You need to have the right mix of publicity and audience interaction without being too annoying.
Now keeping customers, is a whole other world. You need to have good and high-quality products or services for them to refer you to their friends and at the same time return to your shop.
Excellence and Virtue. That's what you need to prioritize.

First off all understand their needs and requirement. In online business promote your product as much as possible. Give them attractive offers.

i recommend on promoting what goods you sell or staff like some website offer a traffic to your website to gain an attention to the right costumer audience and also always update your website sale or try to advertise of your products through social media and study the other competitors price regarding on what you have in common to compete with the price.

Hello there. Do you know the KLT Factor? This stands for Know, Like, and Trust. This is a human-like term. If people like and know you they'll listen to you. But if they trust you they'll do business with you. You have to get people to be able to like and know you and eventually trust you. In order for them to know you, you have to know them first. Establish who you are talking to. Get to know them well because the more specific you can get about them the more you are able to talk directly with them. That's gonna help you to know them and get known by them. Lastly, find common ground that connects you with your customers. Be vulnerable accepting people's criticisms and advice and that's gonna make you more likable. You need to be authentic and real, don't pretend someone who's not you. Talk to your customers what you are doing or about your business practices, that's one way of being really transparent. For that, people think you're really honest and you'll gain their trust.

Nowadays, customers are very wise in buying products, that is why you have to maintain the quality and quantity of what you are marketing.
And also, reducing your price may help. Offer them lower prices for bulk orders. Remember, the customers' weakness is discount. You have to
talk to them, and focus on their needs and wants. When they are satisfied, they will not only return to support your business but will also tell
others what you have to offer.
Keeping your customers satisfied and happy is the best marketing tool to attract and keep them.

There are many ways to attract customers. ads, special offers, and so on. To keep a customer you should talk to them with sincerity. We are all consumers and we want to be treated nicely when buying products or services. Another great thing that works is have a after service support. Even after your customers bought your products you should still be open to their concerns.

I am continuing my family business since 3 years now, and my customer response is very good.
First of all, you need to provide a great offer or scheme, which is affordable by the customers and in your budget.
Second thing, make your speech more informative and catch their attention by maintaining a polite and decent tone.
Don't ever be sad in front of your customers, if you meet in person, and if online, then provide a polite response.
Provide great after sales service. Most of the customers have problems after buying the product. You must be active to support then most of the times. It will gradually increase the goodwill of your business.

Same problem here, I was really happy when I gained customers at a time but the main problem now is keeping them. I work enough to maintain their satisfaction of our services like enhancing my customer analysis and whatsoever.
