Links in text format or picture links?

Social media sharing is very helpful for getting traffic for your website. There are many methods available to share links on social sites. I just want to know which method will be more useful. Text links or links to the pictures?

Promotion through Social media is for real people not for search engines. So, text link is more helpful but if your website have images then using both text and image may offer you good and fast results.

Always Image Links only But Most Of the sites are not giving More importance in Text Links Only . As well as Text link only More useful for SEO
