I'm going to develop a website about news, but it will be more difficult because it may have any duplicated content from other sources or too many big news sites out there.

Are there any ways how to SEO for a news website?

- Use the Google Adwords keyword tool to find popular keywords related to your field and choose best keywords for you.
- Use the keywords and phrases in the title tag of the website
- Write the description tag for each page as attractive as possible.
- Transition from traditional journalism style to SEO style
- Put the keyword in the URL whenever possible
- Never make many links pointing to a single article
- Create a permanent site for posting the story and the problem persists notable
- Never leave a dead link or change the URL without redirect 301
- Use bit.ly or another URL service collapse which supports 301 redirect
- Links to other great sites and asked them to put a link to your site on their page to increase rankings or popular for your website.

How it provide quality backlinks when more forums only permit their members put nofollow links in signature?

I don't mention to Webmaster Sun because this forum has good PR and allowing members have quality backlinks with signature are dofollow link.
