Ways to determine the correct time for posting on your blog - Pratwords.com
Hi friends
Normally I used to publish my blog posts on Monday weekly because I believe that the blog lovers and news hungry people will search for the information more on Monday instead of weekends.
But if publish on Monday then my web traffic will decrease on Saturday and Sunday and I get confused about this problem.
Kindly advised me somethings I should do now?
Hi freds86, this is an interesting question. I being a blogger @ [URLnf="http://pratwords.com"]Pratwords.com[/URLnf], I have this question in mind every time I was about to publish a post in the beginning days of my blog. But now I follow following steps:
- If your blog is live for sometime, you must analyze your blog's traffic behavior on [URLnf="http://www.google.com/analytics/"]Google Analytics[/URLnf] for a given period like 1 month OR 1 week.
- From Google Analytics , find out the time in a given day, when the traffic to your blog increases and remain high.
- From Google Analytics , find out the days in a week, when the traffic to your blog increases and remain high.
- I hope you have a [URLnf="https://www.facebook.com/pratwords"]Facebook page[/URLnf] for your blog where you used to post link of all your blog-post, regularly. Check out the page insight and find out the traffic peak times to your page with respect to days in a week and time of a day.
Start publishing your blog post only when the above mentioned 2nd, 3rd and 4th statistics are high. There is no pre-determined publishing rules as per day and time for a given blog. If you follow the above steps, you will notice significant increase in traffic.
