Hi everyone! Im just wondering to ask from your experience if you have higher conversions/sales on your site when it is affiliated with a eBook/product or a physical product?

Thanks!

Hi Rozzski89,

For me its digital products all the way! You get much higher commissions, typically 50%-75% as well as possibilities of recurring payments with membership sites etc... Vs physical goods where the commission is typically in single figures, in part due to fierce pricing competition and needs to keep overheads down.... So with digital products you can easily have less conversions but make much more...

Best of Luck,

Sid

yes, elcidofaguy is right.
At the moment there is a shift going on when it comes to jobs,
and the way you earn your money.
We are going from the Industry age to the Information age.
The ones who have the best information, earns the most.
Meaning; the companies who know the needs of the consumer
can respond appropriately in a much faster way.

More and more people are loosing their jobs, and turn to the Internet
to see what possibilities there are to make money.
This is where we Internet marketers are coming in with information products.
Product to solve problems, give answers to questions.......

So yeah, I would say this is the golden age for the Internet marketer

On a related note, I've always wondered how one would build a list when selling physical products like couches, fitness equipment, or cooking grills, etc {diamonds}. These products are all over CJ.com but I've only sold them via PPC direct linking. I know coupon sites are the most common way to sell physical products {retailmenot, ebates, etc} but I don't know how you'd do email marketing when selling physical products.

It's clearly NOT the same as email marketing with digital products. IMO it cannot be done cost effectively. I'm also not sure about how to create coupons through CJ. I know a hell of a lot...but these are a few things I don't know the answer to. Can't seem to find the answer anywhere either.
