I'm wondering about your list, how many subscribers to get 1 sale?
I know it depends on quality of a list without quantity but sometime some subscribers can generate a sale or higher?

Well it depends on the niche and how good your engagement with your readers is... If you are spamming your list with promotion after promotion then you can be sure that you are killing your list.... If you are looking for a general number to work with then start out with aiming 1 sale for 100 signups... and measure your ROI accordingly.... I've had 30% plus ROI on some of my lists... So the proof in the pudding is to actually get on and do it and not waste time speculating/procrastinating....

Every list is different. Some of the big guys get less than 0.1% but if you have a list of 1 million that's still a lot of sales.

Recently as the cost of autoresponders has risen some people are only building buyers lists, look at the number of $1 offers that are beginning to appear in the market, and they produce better results. I have heard of marketers getting astonishing results from really small lists and recently spoke to someone who had come 7th on a launch with a list of under 3000. The top affiliate had a list of over 500,000 and from the other names on the leaderboard I doubt than any of them had a list of under 50,000.

What matters is the trust you have built with your list. That and that alone determines the results.

Not an answer you'd want to hear, but there's no definite answer to this.

Too many variables.

And regardless of the size and quality of the size, what's also extremely important is the ACTUAL squeeze and offer itself.

How is it being positioned?

Is the squeeze effectively pre selling or just a spammy way to get them to give the emails?

Is the video/content on the page well done enough?

How's copywriting?

How's page load time?

What's the most obvious variable..... PRICE?

Is the niche too technical or more general?

Etc.

All these variables above hasn't factored into the size/quality /interest of the list yet.

So end of the day, to sum it up. You HAVE to test.
