How do you get content for your blog?

Blogging is still one of the most lucrative ways to earn income only. I've been making a residual income from my blogs for 2-3 years by writing my own articles and some I hired from freelancers.

what about you? How do you get content for your blog?

I write my own content for my blogs. That's what I prefer because most freelancers (if not all) don't do proper research on a topic. They'll give you something that someone can find with a simple Google search.

I want to always give a reader an "AHAA" moment every time they read my content and be like WOW then keep browsing the blog for more content. That way they can easily subscribe to my email list and buy my products and services.

Every time I buy articles I'll end up editing them so I gave up buying content, I just write it myself because I want to build trust right from the beginning.

Writing a blog article depends on authors experience, writing capacity, knowledge and grip on his expertise field. So a successful author can go through other content sources but he will make it in his own style and then publish it as unique, fresh and interesting content.

I write my content as well. In the past, I tried PLR, guest posting, and even outsourced content, but I always ended up rewriting a lot of that material just so that it would have a certain quality or voice that (I discovered) only I could provide.

I have done both. I prefer to write my own articles, but these days, I just don't have the free time like I used to. I now have someone that writes articles for me twice a week.
