One thing that I find help is to look at your page's own Newsfeed a couple of times a week and read/comment on what the people with pages that follow you are up to.

I get the odd promotional email from a forum I belong to, and I sometimes pay to post an ad on another forum.

If I'm thinking of the right site they keep the cash in escrow so you don't get ripped off.

I will add: don't take on more work than you know you can do, teach yourself to manage time well, and always produce 100% original work. [The first two should help avoid late delivery of work.]

If website development means you can handle the technical glitches too then I would focus on that. I would be completely lost without tech folk, and I know there are lots people with online business sites who are hungry for a reliable person to help them.

I can't imagine how a smartwatch works. Must Google it, from my laptop. I rarely search the net with my phone as it is pretty old, and the battery drains too fast. I do have an iPad but don't use that much either.
