Would you hire a freelancer?

I run a website and I have realized that it is a full time job,
as there are many tasks to be carried out. I used to do all the
work by myself but I have decided to start outsourcing some work.
It is expensive but it is worth it. I plan on continuing doing this in future.
Have you ever hired a freelancer? What made you decide to hire one?
