There are lots of ways possible with little investment other than your time. Look at the guy who created the game flappy bird. He was reputed to be making $50,000 a day when he pulled it because of all the hate mail, death threats etc.

Google pewdiepie, a youtuber who just uploads videos of himself playing computer games. He's goofy, funny and rude. Earned $4 million in 2013 and a lot more since. Now has the most subscribed channel on youtube.

There are a substantial number of people doing daft things on youtube and making 6 figure earnings. Guinea pig diary, funny cat videos, car crashes the list is endless. A lot of the most successful channels are just curating other people's content.
