Kindle vs. PDF, which one is better for audiences?

Does anyone have experience on marketing both a Kindle and PDF version of the same book?

I would like to promote a series of Kindle formatted books that I saw them on Amazon but I know specific audiences who would probably prefer a PDF.

I'm contacting authors now to find out if they would like to offer PDF versions of their books.

Well, the kindle format is typical Amazon. com in the USA.
Most other counties prefer a PDF, like Holland where I live.

PDF file can be open on any device, including Kindle (simply send to kindle email and it will be converted to kindle), as for kindle file format is designed for Kindle only!

Kindle support format such as Mobi, AZW3, AZW, prc.

Pdf can also view in kindle though not all use kindle. So, pdf is easy to view.

PDFs are the more universal format right now since most people don't have Kindles, and because PDFs can be read basically on every electronic reader there is.

So I live in Canada, and I use PDF formats, as my relatives and friends. I think it is more common.

Both are okay, but PDF is more accessible and easy to view.

PDF if you can only choose one, but the reality is you should produce both Kindle and PDF versions.

I think PDF is the best option for you.
