Do you have any videos and already to upload them to Youtube and drivie traffic to your blog or your online store. Here I will show you 9 killer tips to optimize our videos on Youtube and Google and getting better positions. As we know the positioning helps us to exponentially increase visits from any action that we are pursuing. In this case we want higher positions than overt videos on Youtube. Following these tips:

1. File type:
Firstly, I would recommend file type for Youtube to upload as followings:
MOV
MPEG4
AVI
WMV
FLV
3GPP
WebM
If you are going to upload more videos, use the option "Defaults" which will save you time when labeling. You can get there from "Settings> Defaults".

2. Use great titles
When creating a title for our video or creative piece we have to consider that is descriptive and, briefly tell us the video content; containing keywords for wanting to appear in search results medium. Search trends must be taken into account to improve the visits do when searching for keywords for which position the video. Finally, we should optimize it periodically so that you are always in the limelight and visits do not stop coming.

3. Increase the number of reproductions
In other words, promote the video on our blog and social media where we have reached. The more powerful fare in a short period of time much better, and we will get to make a viral video, and this will give a great impact. In Talk Social Networking is a post which explains very well how this viralizar videos called 6 Steps to viralización videos .

4. Reactions with video
As in any action that we perform in social media, we have to try to get the maximum impact, and one of the best ways to measure impact are the comments. We have to include, within a video call to action to improve the reviews, inviting users to leave comments.

5. Set Up and Optimize Your Channel
The channel is our hallmark in Youtube and has to be my best. You have to optimize their visual appearance and internal aspect. Some of the factors that account when positioning your videos in this environment are: the age of the channel, frequency of publication of videos, number of subscribers who have said channel having links from other pages, the number of containing videos and the number of reproductions. What we see is not so easy to position your videos right the first time, takes effort and constant work.

6. Using tags
Video Tagged general and specific labels on the topic of video to increase the range and increase the number of reproductions. Avoid hyphens, since people do not usually taken into account.

7. The description
Like a current post it were necessary to properly optimize the description with keywords, which is a descriptive and direct information, including a link to the Youtube channel, the subscription and social networks. This will create greater connectivity and improve the chances that this video is shared on social media.

8. Miniature
A thumbnail image that will describe our video, is the first impression that will give users and as you know there is no second chance for a first impression, so you have to be very careful with this part and find a striking image, which encourages open the video and described in a video frame.

9. Quality
Finally consider the quality of the video, which is available in HD, you can easily share and embed so users can share across all media, including a blog and translations into other languages.

Are there any points that you believe that has not been included in this thread? Leave your replies and talk. I would like to hear your shares!

Just to add I would also look at related high ranking videos and examine what aspects/keywords I can also use such as title/description as well as tags (from source code) which can help with my own video description data... That way you maximize the chances of your video appearing as a related one to the high ranking one which can provide further traffic...

Also I would encourage people to subscribe to your channel... You can add annotations/link button from with Youtube towards the end of the video which can help with that....

I would say both! You'll definitely get more traffic for future videos as your subscribers are informed as well as increasing the chances of your videos being shared... I also suspect that your subscriber count will help with rankings as that is likely to be one factor of many which range from view count, shares, backlinks, bounce rate etc... The greater the subscriber count the more authoritative you look and I am sure G takes note of that....
