It used to be that "www" redirection was a huge issue years ago, but most good hosts these days will automatically redirect visitors to your root domain, no matter whether they type www or not, unless you specifically setup a subdomain called "www".

It can go either way. Some people only get paid after a job is complete, while others get paid first. If it's a small job, then after is fine, but anything large ($100 or more) you should get a 10-30% deposit upfront.

Create your OWN product or service and sell it. Providing solutions to the problems other people have will earn far more than trying to flog someone else's product as an affiliate with tons of competition. If you are good at something then offer your service at a microjob site, such as Fiverr...

Make sure your audience fits your offer, then give them a "call to action" (signup here, enter discount code here, etc). Make the page engaging enough to grab their attention. Most surfers these days have the attention span of a goldfish :)
