Do you feel as though affiliate marketing has become more of a challenge over the past year, due to the heavy amount of spamming online?

I just find it's the same as Google, as it reeks of pure ick all the way around. I do use Facebook for my own personal use, but even while I am using it, I see different things that oozes of creepy stalkish activity which makes me want to crawl in a hole...lol

I had looked into advertising with Facebook, but the price was over the top for me. Now, I'm not one of these people who try to get by on the cheap, but $11/day for an APPROXIMATE range of "Likes" and such, I thought was a bit much. That's just my opinion.
