I've seen lots of people obsess over metrics that don't matter, including DA, while ignoring the important stuff, the same as obsessing over getting backlinks when you only need 1 or 2 important ones. The funniest one to me is someone asking if getting a link on a niche forum will improve DA or...

I used to do backlinks early on, when it was easy to rank with them, but now do it after most everything else, and you only need a couple good ones. I do a framework of basic content related to my niche and then flesh it out later. Doing too much at first is not as good as saving some to "feed"...
