I'm currently working on improving the SEO for my website and have a couple of questions regarding backlinks.
Firstly, how do you calculate the strength or quality of a backlink on a website? I'm interested in understanding the metrics or factors that determine the effectiveness of a backlink for SEO purposes. Any insights or tools you recommend for evaluating backlink strength would be incredibly helpful.
Secondly, I'm considering placing backlinks on other websites. I'm curious about the best placement strategies. Should I put them in the footer, within blog posts, or on the right sidebar? Or are there other strategic placements that have worked well for you? I want to ensure that my backlinks not only contribute to SEO but also provide value to users.
