Since there are no pages anymore (it's all a scroll down of 50+ entries until the "more results" tab), do you consider "success" to be within those first 50 results? 10? Above the "more results" tab?

I agree that some readers will still read the full article, as I do myself sometimes, but for people who just need a quick answer they won't need to. When I was looking for a list of the top 10 foods my dog should avoid today I didn't need to visit a single site, as Google gave me the answer...

Perhaps I need to reword my initial concern so that people truly understand what the problem is here, especially if you have an information-based website. Yes, you CAN still use evolving SEO techniques to rank in Google, BUT more and more often recently Google has been showing the information...

I know that's how everyone would like it to be, that if they provide great content then the site will be rewarded in the search results, but that's not what I see happening...at least not in Google. Approx 50% of the time I search for something on Google I get the answer WITHOUT EVER LEAVING...

I think SEO for webmasters is dying because Google results are not the same anymore. Many results either favor the big authority sites OR give you the answer right on the results page without even needing to visit a website. Yes, people will still go to Google with questions, but they don't...

Why would anyone use Shopify as a blog platform??

Shopify scores well on ease of use at least, but I just don't like anything else about them. I prefer using a standalone solution, such as Woocommerce, that isn't dependent upon a third party platform, and just use whatever processor you prefer to handle payments.

SmallPDF is good, or Canva for PDF to JPG conversion. Google is your friend ;)
