How fast is too fast to learn about Internet Marketing?

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about internet marketing, SEO, blogging and other website and internet subjects so I sometimes might not do things the best way. I am kind of like the guy who jumps in the deep end of the pool before checking the water temperature.

What I am wanting to know is if it is a good idea to just take things slow or go faster and learn as you go?

Any thoughts about this?

Base on your mindsets. But generally I think you should take things slow. Learning requires a lot of practicing. Just keep practicing before you jumps to another section. That way you can master every thing you learn

Do you think it's best to just go for one thing and then when you get real good at it then go to the next or would it be ok to start another thing as soon as you know one ok?
