Small consulting site but still getting leads?

I checked a consulting site called ultrastrategy earlier. Honestly the site is very basic. Few pages. No blog. Almost no SEO content. I expected something bigger for a strategy consulting network. But a colleague told me he actually booked a call from that site not long ago. Just the contact form. That made me pause a bit. I built a small consulting landing page recently with way more content and it barely converts. Maybe simple works better for B2B like this. Hard to tell. Curious how to handle lead gen for consulting type sites.

I think this happens more often than people expect. For consulting, trust and a clear next step can matter more than having lots of pages. If visitors already know what problem they need solved, they may just want enough information to feel confident before booking a call. A simple site can sometimes remove distractions and keep the focus on conversion. I'd test different contact forms, messaging, and proof of results before spending too much time creating additional content.
