Where do the top affiliates hang out?

Hi,

The top affiliates usually create their own private groups (usually paid) where they share advanced information about affiliate marketing. I don't know if Webmastersun.com has private groups such as these, but I used to visit the Warrior forum which is another big IM forum where they have a group called 'The War Room' (I am not making any publicity for the warrior forum, so this is just an example)

Some are worth the money. For example, like he mentioned above, "The War Room" on WF has a lot of good stuff which I believe is probably worth the money.

There's a lot of private facebook groups and skype masterminds that you can pay to enter. I think you pay more for the networking opportunity with those than you are for valuable information. Just my opinion though.

The War Room does have a lot of free stuff that is normal sold to the public. But it is not a business or marketing discussion type forum. I do think it's been worth the money, but not a place to get ton's of new business.

You'd be better off doing a WSO, sell some articles for real cheap to get people interested in your work. At the same time you can build a list and build relationships with people who could use your services. That would be the best way to go in my opinion. You could do a WSO with free articles but then you're just attracting freebie seekers who only take. Charge something, even a buck. You of course won't get as many potential customers but they will be more serious with the means to pay.

Course here on the Sun, there is an offers section as well. Sadly not as many good IM type forums these days.

Where do the top affiliates hang out online?
Like some of the top blogs or forums they visit often.
It can be paid or free forums. I would love to learn about
the tools, systems and methods they use, so I want a forum
where they freely share advice and information. Any
leads would be appreciated.
Starschmucks, usually, LOL. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Anyway, in all seriousness, as Ron stated, the most widely known forum
would be the Warrior Forum, however, there's a lot more "crap" being slung
around that site lately.

I suggest doing a search on Google for "affiliate + forum" or "forum + make
money online" or other similar searches. I WAS going to post a list of links
here, but not sure if the "Sun Gods" would be offended or get upset ;)

Probably not worth posting anyways ways. I've looked for forums and there just not many worth posting to. Use to be some good ones, but they've pretty much all become ghost towns, or full of spam and junk.

Seems many IMer's have gone more toward social media instead of forums, facebook groups, google+ hangouts, growthhackers, inbound.org, ect. Just seems like there has been a migration.

Of the few forums I know of, most of the content is just junk posts. Or they don't send much traffic.

Have you been going through my list again Ron?

I just gathered up my list and right off the top, the first 4 I visited...

C-L-O-S-E-D

and the 5th one is now a blog, LOL

There are a few I still frequent however, that aren't that bad, usually
very helpful in fact, however, the ones I frequent most are PAID, and
you usually do end up with better quality when people have to spend
money to be on the "inside", lol...

Well, sounds like you've had better luck then me, or know how to find them. :)

Oh I am sure the paid ones are better quality.

When you get a chance, maybe PM me some you think are worth it. Unless that is your secret stash.

I'll shoot you the list when I get back on my main PC tomorrow. Have quite a few in my bookmarks so it should be a cinch to export the list and HTML 'em up for ya...

By any chance, do you remember, of did you ever visit a forum called eWealth? THAT was a great forum at one time... Short lived, but great none the less...

Share away.

For a question like "Where do the top affiliates hang out?" you most definitely need to share some links or at least the name of the sites. Even if you just share them like this:

google.com
example.com
etc.

Or simply put/wrap them in a code, use
Code:
[/code ] put the links in-between the code.

Abestweb is supposedly the number #1 affiliate marketing forum, but for years I've been trying to be part of it and it has always been a ghost town. You can try it but the last time I checked, the forum was dead.

It's sad to see a forum with over 100k members not active, but I think the turn off was that the guys there were too strict and harsh when handling spam situations. That was just my experience.

jvnotifypro.com was suppose to be the best in affiliate marketing but it's also ghost town.

To find good communities just go to facebook, search affiliate marketing. However, there's a lot of junk you need to filter so be patient but there are some good groups out there which are not spammed. Also search for "joint venture" groups you will find some good info about affiliate marketing in those communities.

But it's not going to be easy. Good luck

I think it's a good idea to find the top forums in whatever niche you're in and start there. I've also met some by joining popular programs that have like a private forum as a part of the courses. I've come across some of their blogs while trying to get ranked for stuff. I would always sign up to be on their list as a way to keep tabs on what's going on in the niche and such.
