To be an effective marketer you must have your own characteristics . For me it is not enough that you have the knowledge only about the work. You must have the quality of an effective marketer such as discipline, hardwork, focus, eagerness and most of all love on what you are doing. You can add some more.

Online marketing is an effort to spread the world about your company that uses internet to reach people. For me there are many characteristics of being online marketer. My main characteristics unquestionably the patience and love, You need to have both:
Patience is necessary since success does not come immediately. The process is a marathon not a sprint. It entails identifying your target market niche, and then providing answers and solutions. The help you provide establishes authority. You can provide a service or a product. But your Unique Sales Proposition must be clear.
Love for what you're targeting and the processes of serving your market is essential. You must love what you are doing to be able to launch an effective campaign.

First, is patience. An online marketer need to be patience when advertising products and engaging to different websites to advertise.
Second,perseverance. An online marketer must persevere all his/her actions and give all in doing online marketing.

For me, it's confidence.As a marketer, you are are promoting something to someone and you must be confident in every aspect.Self-confidence is a must.It is how you cary yourself and how you appear to people.Confidence will make you look smarter.Another thing is confidence on your product.If you know your products very well it will be easy for you to promote it.

1. You will have to reach your audience through all the famous online means like blogs, social networks, youtube. So it definitely needs you to be a "Jack of all trades".
