Can any one tell me which pinging service is best for manually pinging things like your web pages you set up when dropping links? or ping new posts on your blog?

If you need to "ping" something to get Google to find it, there is something really wrong with your sites or the pages you are setting up.

It would be hard to think of a bigger waste of money than a ping service.

These are tools that provide outdated services. They where of benefit a LONG time ago. They are not needed anymore. Concentrate on high quality content and high quality backlinks.

As mentioned, Pingler and Pingomatic are pinging services and it is a waste of money hence I would recommend using Google fetch tool in G webmaster tool, that will be more effective than using those services.
