What is a Good Click-through Rate (CTR) for a Website?

I checked my google webmaster tool and my website's Click-through Rate (CTR) is 2.4
I don't know this is a good CTR or not. Should I improve it to have a higher CTR? or improving it? How? What's a Good Click-through Rate (CTR) for a Website?

I heard that 5% CTR is good enough. I remember before that i didnt update my site for like 6months but my CTR is still getting better. To improve it more, absolutely we have create more content, article etc and get more visitors.

your CTRs are very good.. keep it up.. the world average CTRs is around 1.9%.. so anything above that is really good.. however the average CTRs for googles ads is around 3%, if you are running google ads, anything above 3% is gravy!
