I'm 20 and really into owning a business, but I know that the network is really important if I want to improve my business. I wonder if there is other lessons that I need to notice.
Plzz let me know your lesson, thanks for sharing!

Find user pain points, research existing services how they are solving that pain point and offer something extra or unique that existing service is missing to fill the gap

I am currently at a stage where the values of what you wrote matters a lot and it's exactly something I'd want to settle or solve, as it's quite the fastest means of earning profits if the dots are well connected.

Besides networking, focus on:
  • Cash flow management
  • Understanding your customers
  • Constantly learning and adapting
  • Building a strong online presence
Hope it helps!

Building a strong network is crucial, but also focus on financial literacy to manage cash flow effectively. Develop problem-solving skills to adapt to challenges and market changes. Consistency and learning from failures will help you grow. Stay open to feedback and always seek improvement in your business strategies.

Hey, you're in a really exciting stage right now, and it's awesome that you're thinking about building a strong network. Beyond just meeting new people, I’d say focus on learning from everyone you interact with each conversation can teach you something new about business and life. Also, make sure you're constantly challenging yourself to learn new skills, whether that's through books, online courses, or even mentors who have been there before. It’s all about experimenting, sometimes failing, and then growing from those experiences. Remember, genuine relationships are more valuable than just a big contact list, so invest time in really connecting with others. Keep pushing forward and stay curious. You're on a great path!

Hey! Networking is crucial, but consistency and adaptability matter too. Learn from failures, reinvest in yourself, and always focus on providing value. Surround yourself with successful people who push you forward.

Best early money lesson: Pay yourself first.

  • Save & invest (even small amounts) before spending.
  • Avoid lifestyle inflation—just because you can spend doesn’t mean you should.
  • Build an emergency fund (3–6 months’ expenses).

That’s a great mindset to have at 20, wanting to build something and knowing the value of networking already puts you ahead of many.

One lesson I’ve learned: fail fast, learn faster. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before launching. Start small, get real feedback, and adjust as you go. You’ll learn more in one messy launch than in six months of planning.

Also: focus on solving real problems, not just cool ideas. If you solve something that genuinely helps people, they’ll be more than willing to pay for it.

And yeah, relationships matter. But it’s not about knowing everyone, it’s about building real connections with a few people who support, challenge, and grow with you.

Keep going, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes, just don’t repeat the same ones.
