Hello everyone,
I see that recently the SEO community has been debating a lot about whether AI-generated content is still “healthy” on Google. From the end of 2024 to 2025, Google has continuously updated and tightened content quality and user experience.
Some personal observations when testing AI content on many sites:
New site (0 authority):
If you push a series of pure AI content, traffic may initially increase, but will easily drop sharply after 1-2 months.
Google seems to underestimate “similar” content, with no difference.
Old site (with trust, good backlinks):
AI content can still rank but needs to be optimized properly on-page and add more unique insights (data, case studies, and exclusive images).
Articles that combine AI and manual editing often maintain a more stable top position.
Highly competitive niches (finance, health, tech):
“Running” AI content can hardly stand. Users can also easily recognize that the content is too mechanical, leading to a high bounce rate.
Some tips I am applying:
Use AI to research and outline instead of writing the whole article.
Add E-E-A-T signals: author name, clear profile, and citing reputable sources.
Combine diverse content: text + video + infographic to increase trust.
Open question for you guys:
According to everyone, in 2025, should we continue to scale the site with AI content or focus on fewer pages but higher quality?
Have any of you tried “SEO-friendly” AI tools (like Koala, SurferAI…) for site authority? What are the results?
Looking forward to hearing more sharing from colleagues in the profession to update appropriate SEO strategies.
