Hi, I think its important to showcase your work in a clean and engaging manner. Your portfolio will do the major part of selling your services so it has to look professional and unique.

A prospective client will leave your page quickly if the design looks old, copied or just boring. This is your chance to show off your skills and at the same time get them to contact you... Have a few 'calls to Action' buttons and make the navigation around your site easy and obvious.

Oh, and one last thing - make sure that its only YOUR work in your portfolio :thumb:
Hope this helps.

Your portfolio is the doorway to your work and skills so it must be very neatly organized. Visually appealing and easy to navigate are the two things that you need to take care of while designing your portfolio. Good logo, proper contact form, font sizes, sober colors are some aspects that sets your portfolio apart.
