New Technical writer seeks help

I am a writer, an independent researcher, a self-taught cultural anthropologist, a political satirist, webmaster and SEO.

I would like to venture into the field of technical writing as a freelancer (not on regular basis), particularly writing tutorials, User Guides/manuals, Knowledge base, operating guides, installing guides, release note, training/procedure alerts of software, computer applications, web sites etc., and How-to articles, Tips and tricks of web designing and SEO.

If any can guide me how to get started, I shall appreciate the help.
