Please Advice! Changing my website design.

I am going to completely change my web design to build more authority. But My current site has lots of keyword which rank very high in Google. I am currently building my site in another server by copying my current wordpress database and editing there. I have completed designing that demo site, Now I want to transfer that demo site to the new one.Can You advice me some important thinks to take care when I Transfer so that I dont mess up with my rankings after transferring. I heard about making the micro data similar to the previous one, is it so important? Is there any other importance thinks to take care?

Keep the same On-page SEO (heading tags, keywords link, text) on new design, it will keep current rankings for your website. Even, it you optimize better on page SEO on new web template, it can get higher rankings than old one

One important thing more: while move old site to new site, don't let server down for hours

You're going to change your web design, will all link structures change?

If new website template is more different from old web template, it can affect to SEO and keyword rankings.

Microdata only is one of three code languages that designed for providing search-engine spider programs with information about your website content, it looks as meta tags, heading tags on your page.

It will not affect to your ranking because it only affect if you change things relate to on page or off page SEO factors. ALWAYS keep in mind this!

Change template cause decrease your rankings but don't worry about that, after you change to a new template, you should increase quality content for your blog and having quality backlinks on high PR sites, it helps you keeps rankings on search engines

If your link structure is the same than I guess it won't harm your site as well as not in ranking too.

I advise you not to mess with your website design if you are getting reasonable organic traffic. Because if you change your design it will effect your ranking specially in google.
