I have a little knowledge about photoshop, just designing simple graphics.

I know using Photoshop from books that I bought from stores. I didn't learn from websites before.

Thank you so much for the useful links to learn about Photoshop. But as a fresher we can't understand all the tutorial points, so it is always better to train under an experienced person. Then we can get professional vector design, real time work life issues etc.,

You are welcome orangesweety! Yes you read my mind. We need an experienced person for better training. But when we are going to think about money then many of us stop the journey. I think Photoshop one the best software which provides lots of tutorials for both person. A Photoshop lover may takes it with cost or without cost. You know! first you just need a good basic. You can check for basic here [URLnofo]https://www.adobeknowhow.com/courselanding/beginners-adobe-photoshop[/URLnofo]

In my opinion you-tube is the best source to learn Photoshop, there you can search for Photoshop tutorials and explore yourself by watching videos. If you want to join in any online training classes to learn Photoshop then you can try lynda.com. They provide a basic tutorials for newbies to learn free. After completion of the training from lynda.com for sure people will become a sharper Photoshop designer like me :)

IF you want to learn the application.

Sit down and start playing with it. Figure it out.

I spent my college summer in front of the computer doing just that for PS 2.2 and when I came back I was not only better than those that took the classes available but I also developed by own techniques and awareness of the intuitiveness of the application. (yes it actually has a framework and logic to it)

You can take the boxed classes and whatnot and have crap retention and crap ability while claiming to have learned something... or you can do the actual math and really know it.

Honestly, http://www.good-tutorials.com/ has been my goto site for tutorials related to graphic and Web-design since I started--over ten years ago. The site provides various resources for graphic designers and Web designers who use Photoshop and other programs. Tutorials among them include amazing text effects, logo design, and page layout design. Give them a look and let me know what you think. They've been around since 2002.

1. Lynda - [URLnofo]http://www.lynda.com/Photoshop-tutorials/279-0.html[/URLnofo]

This may be me favorite resource. It isn't free, however, it provides such amazing content that I do believe that it is well worth the price. Starting at just $25 a month, they offer over 290 Photoshop courses and 17,000 video tutorials! Not only that, the instructors are world class and easy to follow. They are even categorized by skill level. You can fine tune your education by going straight to the basics or exploring specific tools or techniques. If you have a favorite author, you can look through all their videos. I personally recommend Chris Orwig's videos. He teaches at Brooks Institute. It is a testament to the level of talent teaching at Lynda.
Another great part about Lynda is that there are plenty of topics other than Photoshop! Check out all the subjects available through their library.

Thank your for sharing those websites and it really makes me happy to discover other websites that offers different styles and approach in learning photoshop. Basically, I'm just only learning on Youtube videos and sometimes It is very hard to follow step by step. Sometime if I get unlucky to choose a good video with a good editing, halfway on working the editing seems to not capture a simple clicks that is essential to completing the work.

These sites are so useful for learning Photoshop and everything very clear to understand it would be so much helpful for who are new at it. Photoshop is the best photo editing tool for its unique features and most of the professionals uses this tool. Beside these sites there are some sites exist which are also working great, such as: lynda, sleeklens, kelbyone, photoshop cafe, Udemy etc.
