When should I restart my VPS?

After restarting my VPS I felt my websites run smoothly. Do you guys restart your VPS in schedule or when it has problems?

I think you might need to check your MYSQL configuration and optimize it, same counts for Apache.

If everything is setup and configured correctly, and you have adequate resources, you shouldn't need to restart your VPS.

Take a look at how much RAM you have available. You may be running low and using swap RAM, hence why it runs better after a restart (which dumps everything out of RAM)

Yes you should definitely look your resources over. Unless your still using a windows server from 1995 there is no reason to restart unless you are doing an update that requires it. If things run better after a restart then there is an issue going on you need to get corrected.

I have 3 GB of RAM but I didn't see any options in web control panel to see how much RAM I am using. are there any ways to check it by SSH commands?

I've never restarted my personal VPS, so no, there is no schedule. Did you query your provider if there were issues outside of your account that could have affected your sites?
