It is not fix time that Google will crawl your website on that or this fix date and time.
No one knows the exact crawling process of Google but we can do one thing to let out site crawl fast by Google bots and that is try to add fresh and relevant content to page.

Crawl rates will vary, depending on a few things like how often it gets new content added, how often pages/posts/etc. are updated as well as some other things.

Now, you say it hasn't been crawled in the last 8 days. Do you mean that you created the website 8 days ago and it hasn't been crawled yet OR do you mean that Google crawled your site 8 days ago and hasn't come back again?

If it's not a new site then check to see when the time before the last crawl was and that might give you an idea as to how often Google is crawling your site.

How much time ago did you create your website?
It usually takes time for new websites to be crawled.
Have you created a sitemap and submitted it to Google?

There is no set time for Google to index a site. It belongs to site's popularity and it's internal links. Google will first look up to your content, then on links. If there are few good links, it'll seriously help to rank faster.

It depends on the popularity of a website, as you can imagine... It can take from a couple of minutes (for very popular ones) to a couple of days to weeks...

As said above by our mates that there is no time fixed for the website to be crawled. If you want the crawler to index your website then you can use the google webmasters tool option "fetch as google" for the page which you want to get indexed. This should only be done when some new content or updation is done on the werbsite so that crawler can come and index that content. By using this fetch as google option will let your website to be crawled within 24 hours.

IF you want to be in control of when and where in terms of Google. ALl you need to do is share the content right after you post it on G+. From the time you share, to the time it gets crawled is minutes. You can look atyour log file and confirm this for yourself. Now the question is how long will it take to be indexed.. well that's a whole other question with a lot of variables.

I agree with these ideas

External links are still better internal links if you have any quality sites that putting your article links on them, your article will be crawled/indexed faster

How do you think Google+ helps in crawling a website? evidence?

From my experience, If your article links came from shares on high quality sites where Google robots are always be there, it will be crawled/indexed fastest, maybe some minutes.

There is another thread: https://www.webmastersun.com/threads/12294-Does-Facebook-help-SEO where a case study is shared in regards to SEO and G+ in particular. They suggest 6 minutes is the time it takes for Google to crawl your site after pressing the share button ( I have seen less time, and in a few cases a bit more time, but 5 6 minutes seems about average ). You can see this for yourself in your sites log file. The share is clicked, and low and behold the Google bot is there.. on demand as it were.

There is no estimated time defined for crawling by google, still I would suggest you to resubmit the website with webmaster tools, make sure to submit sitemap. Webmaster will give you the messages like crawl errors also you will be able to see the crawl stats there. So visit the below link and resubmit the website :

There is no fixed time for crawling it may be a week or a month....
if your website has some issue you can see all the issue related to website in Google webmaster (Search Console) crawling of website is also depend on how frequently you update your website..
if you want to crawl your website after a fixed period then you need to do this stuff -
# set priority and how frequently pages updated in sitemap.xml
or
# Go to webmaster account and use "fetch as option "

You must look what makes your website unique, engaging or valuable for your users , because you must create the website for your users not for search engines.Do not use tricks to can increase website ranking ... is very true what other members write here, is taking some time for new website to be indexed , and spiders to crawl your website .
Try to increase your web traffic and to bring real visitors for your website in that way is increasing your website visibility .

The crawling also depends of your loading time. If your website loads to slow, the GoogleBot will not have time to crawl many pages. So, that's one of the reasons that you need to have a fast website, to let bots crawl more pages.
