Hi all!
I have set a 301 redirect from: trustedtrafficstore.co To: trustedtrafficstore.uk.to How long will it take to affect? I'm still getting 404 errors while loading the old domain?
Do links pass through the redirect? Can I have my old links?
Thanks in advance,
Samim Noorzai TGC

Well mate, the 301 redirect rule is instant. But how have you set it? What method have you used? Htaccess method?

For me the redirect is working from: trustedtrafficstore.co To: trustedtrafficstore.uk.to.

What 404 errors are you getting?

As for "do links pass through the redirect"

You will have needed or need to set up a redirect rule (301 permanent move) for them also if you have new links/pages etc.

The error is solved. I used a DNS record on Namecheap (which is a 301 redirect) to the new domain and it works fine now. I'm worrying about my links. My old domain has over 148 links! (of which 127 were dofollow). I were ranking high on some keywords but now it appears that my new domain is not going to rank ever! Will give it a google search, thanks. Maybe it takes a little time to get crawled for the first time. Ah? really, i'm sure.
