What is the best place to learn CSS, ebooks or online tutorials?

I know the basics about CSS and know how to deal with it, but I need just the way to become more professional to do design for different websites. What is the best place to learn CSS, ebooks or online tutorials? what would you recommend to me?

i think The best way to learn programming is to hire a tutor who knows how to teach programming, and can keep your motivation up. Of course, you mean, what's the best way to learn programming that's free (or mostly free) and doesn't require hiring anyone.

By jumping in and experimenting. Look at HTML and CSS code of sites you like. Look at a portion of a page you like and then reproduce it by hand. Start keeping a file of HTML and CSS snipets and build yourself a toolbox.

Grab some site templates you really like and reverse engineer them.

After you have done that for some time, look at a site (NOT the HTML or CSS) and reproduce it by hand. You will learn a lot more this way than watching tutorials or reading ebooks.
