What is the Adsense ad limit?

I'm doing some redesigning for my blog and taking into consideration some future needs. One thing I need to know is how many Google Adsense ads you can have displayed. I've seen places say 3 and some say there is not a limit.

Does anyone know what the current Adsense ad limit is?

Currently Google does not have any limit of ads in a page. However It is advisable that don't use too much ads on a single page or post. Sites with thin content and plenty of ads can get their account suspended. Better use two to three ad units with mix up of contextual and link ad units. This will increase the performance of your site and adsense earnings.
